The New York Film Academy in New York City will remain closed
Thursday-Sunday, November 1st-4th with the expectation of reopening on
Monday, November 5th. We are forced to make this decision due to the
continued electrical outage in our New York City facilities. Some of
our faculty and students are also without power and many are not able
to travel to school because of the lack of public transportation.
There will be some scheduling challenges when we reopen and we may all have to be patient as electricity and services are fully restored. However with the cooperation and commitment of students, teachers, and staff, we can make sure that all programs fulfill the goals originally set for them and all students have the opportunity to complete their work. This has been a hard week for everyone. We are grateful that from the reports we have received, all of our students, faculty, and staff have come through the storm and its damaging effects safely.
If you have any questions about the temporary closing of our New York City campus or if you are in any need of assistance please contact us by:
Our phones in New York City are not yet restored. However, you may speak with our staff at New York Film Academy-Los Angeles campus; 9:00 am - 6:00 pm PST.
