“While Appy was a student, she continually pushed herself to learn, and create outstanding imagery,” NYFA Chair of Photography David Mager says of Agarwal. “It’s great to see that she is still growing in her process, and is being recognized in the industry for her beautiful work.”

Her latest editorial, Radiant Rose, features stunning photos that make use of dark shadows and the bright red of a large blooming rose. You can see her work on pages 44-48 of LeFair Magazine’s eleventh issue here.

Agarwal has been busy since graduating NYFA, and has built an impressive portfolio. She has photographed artists and brands including Jade Weber, Tyler Shields, Abla Sofy, Raja Kumari, Nidhi Sunil, and Lulu & Sky. In addition to LeFair Magazine, she has been published in Bella, Elléments, 7Hues, and Imirage. Agarwal has also produced shoots for L’Officiel, Hello India, Cosmo Lady, Urvashi Rautela, Preity Zinta, R. Madhavan, Max Emerson, Inas X, Siddharth Mallya, and Gulshan Grover.

“Photography is my calling, my profession,” Agarwal tells NYFA, “and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday. I assume perfection is possible, and I want to wring it out of every picture I take.”

New York Film Academy congratulates Photography alum Apeksha Agarwal on her gorgeous work featured in LeFair Magazine, as well as the other successful projects she’s embarked on since graduating NYFA!
