Logan West, Miss Teen USA 2012
This past Sunday, over 100,000 viewers streamed the Miss Teen USA competition held in Paradise Island, Bahamas. After narrowing down the contestants, Logan West was crowned Miss Teen USA 2012. The 18-year-old winner is from Southington, Connecticut. In light of her recent victory, the New York Film Academy is offering Logan a two-year scholarship to attend the school.
Past winners such as 2011 Miss Teen USA, Danielle Doty, and 2007′s Hilary Cruz, attended NYFA. Cruz starred in Donald Trump’s MTV reality show Pageant Place, and shot national commercials for McDonald’s, Sleep Studio, DSW, and shoe retailer Deichmann. She also filmed scenes for the 2012 film Freelancers starring Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker, and 50 Cent.
