Bro Code recently premiered at the Cannes Court Metrage. The short film was written, produced, and starred New York Film Academy Acting student, Roope Olenius. Bro Code is a movie about a Finnish alpha male who decides to help his “artist friend” get laid. The short was produced via endless Skype calls between two different continents, filmed in Finland, and finally premiered in France.
Roope will be graduating at NYFA’s LA campus in August 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Acting for Film. He plans to submit the film to several festivals this year, and is simultaneously in pre-production on his next movie with the same crew. “The film was done with a really small budget,” said Olenius. “So, a big thank you goes out to our sponsors and the people who really wanted to make the film work.”
