New York Film Academy opened its doors once again for a fun and informative Open House this Saturday. Academic Counselors spoke about NYFA’s innovative and hands-on arts education programs. Students from all over were given the grand tour of the former historic Tammany Hall building, sitting at the northeast corner of Manhattan’s Union Square. One of the more popular attractions was our green-screen station. Students were taught the basics of the special effects technology, which is used in many of Hollywood’s biggest movies, including The Matrix. How do you think they shot this famous scene?

Here’s a sneak peek at what you missed out on…

If you’re kicking yourself for not attending, you can redeem yourself next month, July 20th and 21st in NYC, LA, and Australia. For more information about our upcoming Open House sessions, sign up for more information about New York Film Academy!
