New York Film Academy has collaborated with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to provide NYFA students a unique opportunity to work on a series of special projects with the world’s premier performing arts organization and its artists.
The first project completed was a profile interview with Harlem Renaissance Orchestra Band Leader, Ron Allen, whose big band is a perennial favorite at Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing—New York’s hottest outdoor dance party.
Current projects include the documentation and editing of an upcoming speaker series dedicated to the art and craft of documentary filmmaking, launching this winter.
