India Is The World's Largest Producer Of Films
Mumbai, previously known as Bombay, lies on the west coast of India and is also the entertainment capital of India. Mumbai is the economic capital of India and runs the world's biggest film industry - Bollywood. It is the most populous city in India, and the second most populous city in the world. Mumbai's culture is a blend of traditional festivals, food, music and theatres. The city offers a cosmopolitan and diverse lifestyle with a variety of food, entertainment and night life, available in a form and abundance comparable to that in other world capitals.
Some of the places one must visit to feel the pulse of Bombay would be Prithvi Theatre in Juhu, a walk down the Marine Drive, Bandstand in Bandra, University Building, Gateway, Flora Fountain, The Gateway, the Taj Hotel among others.

Daily Schedule
The workshop is full-time, with classes or shooting organized nearly every day of the week. The schedules are rigorous; however, students will have the opportunity to explore Mumbai.Equipment
Students in the Filmmaking Workshops shoot HD camera. All students edit digitally using Final Cut Pro on Macintosh computers. The equipment our Film Academy students use is comparable to that of the leading degree programs in the United States. All camera and equipment will be made available to the students from NYFA.Instructors
Our eclectic faculty is comprised of experienced instructors and professional filmmakers who have Master of Fine Arts degrees from the most prestigious film programs in the United States. These include New York University, Columbia University, the University of Southern California, and UCLA.Final Screening & Portfolio
At the conclusion of the filmmaking workshop, a screening of the students' final films is held. This provides a unique opportunity for family, friends, and cast to see the work students have produced. Students retain a copy of their work to include in their portfolios. Each student, upon successful completion of the program, receives a certificate.Contact Details
