Working Stiffs is a short episodic television program produced by New York Film Academy students. It follows the adventures of two roommates who get canned from their corporate cubical farm jobs, which sets them off on a series of entrepreneurial escapades. Keep up on the antics of these two as they try to make things work on their own terms.

The New York Film Academy is aware that students who enter into an acting program may have different levels of experience in the craft, therefore, we have created an Acting for Film Program that is on the cutting-edge of the actor training field! Whether students only have stage experience but no film and television training, raw talent but no formal technique, or are actors looking to hone certain skills, the Academy has a program designed for students at every level. Because we understand the differences among our prospective students, the Academy created two admissions tracks for our One and Two-Year Acting for Film Programs. Whether you choose to apply through the Audition Track or the Open Enrollment Track, all admitted applicants will follow an intensive curriculum designed to launch a career in film and television.
THE AUDITION TRACK THE OPEN ENROLLMENT TRACK
Applicants with previous background or acting experience can audition for placement prior to entering the program. Accepted Audition Track students will be in a program designed for their specific needs to hone and advance their skills. Applicants may ‘opt out’ of an audition. Open Enrollment students will be placed with other applicants who have not auditioned or who are new to the craft. Students choosing this track may apply online or mail in a hard copy of the application. Open enrollment is only applicable for the Acting for Film Programs.
Audition Track students have 3 choices:
number 1 Attend an audition at one of our Audition Tours around the country:

number 2 Make an appointment for a specific audition time at our New York or Los Angeles campus.

number 3Submit a DVD or tape of your audition to:
