All students enrolling in the Intensive One-Week Animating Quadrupeds Workshop should be aware that this is an introductory course. The limitation of a one-week course should be apparent, given that many people spend years studying and perfecting their craft.

PREPARATION

Students must have taken at least one other animation class or be able to demonstrate character animation skill.

FORMAT

Animating quadrupeds is a special topic for animators. Using a pre-rigged quadruped, students will learn the specifics challenges of quadrupeds. Acting styles will include realistic techniques based on Muybridge's motion studies and extreme toon animation.

Students will come away with a walk cycle, a run cycle and a short acting clip for their reel.
