In March 2010, New York Film Academy teamed up with Del York International and held hands-on programs in filmmaking, acting, animation, editing, screenwriting, and producing for 370 Nigerians in Abuja. This August we will bring the programs to the thriving, vibrant center of the African film industry - Lagos.

Filmmaking in Nigeria: This is a proposed module that will be compulsory for all students to partake in irrespective of course of study. The module will teach the processes of filmmaking in Nigeria, its challenges, Nollywood as an industry, film distribution, and what you need to know when filming in Nigeria in terms of business and law.
