The New York Film Academy is honored to announce an amazing opportunity for our teen camp students: A scholarship provided by the John H. Lamensdorf Memorial Trust
"The John H. Lamensdorf Memorial Trust was created to insure that student filmmakers, musicians, writers and literature lovers would be able to experience important educational opportunities otherwise not available to them. We feel it is the most fitting tribute to John's legacy."
Last year's recipient was Brenna Peake from Maine, who took the 3 Week High School Acting Program.
Students for New York Film Academy's Teen Camps are able to apply for the Scholarship by downloading Application.
All applications must be received by May 15th, 2012. The Scholarship will cover tuition as well as providing a living stipend for the student's dormitory costs.
New York Film Academy is very grateful to the Lamensdorf Family, and is proud to help commemorate a talented Filmmaker!
Please contact Stephanie Foltz, the head of Teen Camp Admissions for questions about applying.
Please send completed grant applications to Brian Koplow at financialaid@nyfa.edu.
