Award winning film Voices screened internationally at Golden Gate Documentary Film Festival in San Francisco, Miami Short Film Festival, Barcelona Short Film Festival, and Festival Du Cinema de Bruxelles. Voices was also Semifinalist at Boston Motion Picture Awards and requested to be screened as part of the activities planned in Athens, Greece for the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Prior to joining NYFA, Jim Miller was the Executive Director of the Scholar Rescue Fund (SRF), a program of the Institute of International Education (IIE). Mr. Miller was the Senior Executive of Studio Art Centers International (SACI), a US university accredited school of art and design in Florence, Italy. Prior, he was the Founder and CEO of three different private global trading firms. Mr. Miller is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Medhen Orphan Relief Effort (MORE), a 501c3 dedicated to providing essential services to more than 1400 orphaned children in Ethiopia. He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA), and sits on two other nonprofit boards.

Jim Miller is an alumni of the University of Denver, Pratt Institute, and Drake University, and completed coursework at The New School, the Art Students League, Santa Reparata International School of Art, and the Scuola Internationale di Grafica di Venezia.
