New York Film Academy Moscow 2-Day Film Production Seminar

The New York Film Academy returns to Moscow this December 2017, for its ongoing series of hands-on filmmaking workshops. This workshop is a 2-Day Film Production Seminar where workshop participants will be immersed in lessons targeting preproduction and production management, as well as directing preparation fundamentals. Join us for orientation Friday Dec. 1 before diving into a hands-on intensive course that spans Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Dec. 3.

Students of all levels are invited to participate at this production workshop, as the instruction and hands-on participation is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned professionals interesting in learning the U.S. standard practices of preproduction in production management and directing for the film and television industries.

Lectures from our faculty of industry professionals include in-class, supervised practical exercises, where participants immediately apply what they have learned in the topics covered and analyzed in class. Each applicant is required to submit a short, one- to two-paragraph summary of his or her professional background, including level of experience as producer, production manager or director.

There will be short breaks between lectures, and participants are strongly encouraged to bring lunch and snacks on Saturday and Sunday. Seminar lectures and topics outlined below.
