Hands-on Intensive 2-Day Musical Theatre Workshop

2-Day Broadway Musical Theatre Workshop in Florence, Italy
Study with Wicked’s Elphaba and PCMT Creative Director, Kristy Cates

This broadway intensive, 2-day Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre (PCMT) at NYFA Workshop is designed to enhance the skills of current musical theatre professionals/students as well as those only starting to explore their passion and talent. The workshop, led by PCMT Creative Director and Wicked's Kristy Cates, will focus on what it takes to be a successful artist in this industry.

In this workshop, students will focus on clear and effective storytelling - both in scene work and musical selections. We will dive into the vocal nuances needed in order to effectively sing in all genres of musical theatre and explore healthy and exciting Broadway belting techniques that take a performance to the next level. You will also learn original choreography from one of the Broadway shows in which Kristy has performed.

Central to NYFA's workshops is the philosophy of learning by doing, through which students learn the craft of musical theatre through hands-on instruction. Kristy will help take your skill set to the next level by sharing with you the unparalleled training only offered by a Broadway professional.
