Alia Azamat Ashkenazi

Bio

WRITER | DIRECTOR | SCRIPT & CONTINUITY DEPARTMENT

Born in Uzbekistan, Alia Azamat Ashkenazi got her start as a sports columnist which helped her to discover her love for dramatic writing and visual storytelling. She has collaborated with the United Nations as a writer-director on their International Peacemaking Festivals in Moscow (2008-2011). Alia moved to New York and completed New York Film Academy’s 1-Year Screenwriting program. She has since gone on to be a script supervisor on a number of productions including When They See Us, Succession, and Creed II.
