Wright’s film “Legacy” was recognized and awarded Best Short by the March on Washington Film Festival, which was held at the White House. The film was also shown at DOC NYC along with four other NYFA works. She has continued to work as a writer and producer on documentary features, such as “50 Shades of Silence” and “The Angola Project: Detroit,” and is currently developing her own documentary feature, “The Shreveport 6.”
