Anna Franquesa Solano is a Cinematographer from Barcelona, who currently resides in New York. After graduating with a degree in Art History in Spain, Franquesa-Solano went on to study cinematography and graduated from New York Film Academy’s 1-Year Conservatory Cinematography Program.

Franquesa-Solano has worked on many projects from feature films and documentaries, to commercials, branded content and short films. More recently, Franquesa-Solano was the Director of Photography for Lulu Wang’s award-winning film, The Farewell, which became a Grand Jury Prize nominee at Sundance and received nominations for Foreign Language Film at the Golden Globes and BAFTA Awards. The film also went on to win the top prize at the Independent Spirit Awards for Best Feature.
