Gary Bencheghib is a Documentary alum who lives in Brooklyn, New York. His work brings awareness to the amount of waste created by humans and how to curb this. He is the founder of Make A Change World and previously worked for VICE. Indonesia’s President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has made a public commitment and begun the process to clean up the Citarum River, largely thanks to a series of “micro-docs” created by Gary Bencheghib with his brother, Sam, through Make a Change World.

Noteabley, Bencheghib was invited to speak at the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos to discuss the effects of climate change among other notable activists like Greta Thunberg.
