New York Film Academy Notable Alumni
Giulia Bernardini, a Rome native, graduated from the New York Film Academy One Year Conservatory Producing Program in 2014. In the past few years, she has focused her career on film and television development. While still in the US, she worked for a variety of independent productions companies, but once back in Italy, in 2015, she started working for Cattleya, the largest film and television production company in Italy.
At Cattleya, Giulia started as a Development Coordinator, was then promoted to Story Editor, and now holds the role of Development Executive. Last year, she worked on the critically acclaimed mob-series Gomorrah (Sky Europe, Canal Plus, Sundance Channel and now Netflix US) as well as the first Italian Netflix Original series, Suburra.
She is currently working on the international event mini-series, Zero Zero Zero for Sky Europe, Canal +, Studio Canal, and Amazon. The NYFA Producing Department is exceptionally proud of Giulia Bernardini and wish her continued success.
