New York Film Academy alum Richard Brookshire is a storyteller and co-founder of the Black Veterans Project an initiative dedicated to advocating for Black veterans and fostering a community of stakeholders to draw on existing data and advance new research to amplify the barriers faced by Black veterans of all generations.  Richard also penned the New York Time Magazine Article Serving in the Army as a Queer Black Man Opened My Eyes to Racism in America.
