CINEMATOGRAPHER
The New York Film Academy was honored to play host to three legendary cinematographers in June 2004. Laszlo Kovacs (1933-2007) joined Bill Fraker and Roy Wagner on a panel discussion for students, in which they discussed their extensive film histories and how the industry and technology have changed throughout their careers. Kovacs extraordinary career began in earnest with Easy Rider by Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. His lengthy career spanned 5 decades and included a wide variety of films from many genres. He won the Golden Laurel Award for Best Cinematography twice in 1969 and 1970.
