Photoville is a public “pop-up” container art exhibition that takes place in Brooklyn Bridge Park. United Photographic Industries created and has coordinated the non-profit event since 2011, which has grown to draw thousands of visitors from around the world. We are proud to have become partners in 2016 and are looking forward to the opportunity to present the artwork of our esteemed scholars and alumni this September of 2017. For more information, please visit the Photoville website.

September 13th - 24th, 2017. A daily schedule will be posted as we get closer to the event.
All submissions will be reviewed and juried by a curatorial panel of NYFA affiliated curators and professors. We ensure that this panel is unbiased. The names of applicants will be concealed and voting will be done anonymously.
Submission is open to all New York Film Academy students and alumni, from all campuses worldwide (sorry, faculty are not eligible). You may submit up to 5 jpeg images for consideration, at 2500 pixels on the long edge at 72 dpi. Images should also be less than 5MB in size. Each image should be named as follows: "firstname_lastname_imagetitle_sequencenumber.jpg" (john_doe_untitled_01.jpg). Images that do not meet the above criteria will not be considered.
Please also fill out all required fields on the submission page, including a brief statement that is 500 words or less that explains what the artwork is about.
If selected, you will then need to send a flattened, high resolution tiff image no smaller than 16” x 20” at 240 dpi by July 31st, 2017.
NYFA will print accepted images as archival inkjet prints which will be displayed according to our exhibition design. There will be no expense required of the individual artist. Accepted images must be submitted 16” X 20” at 240ppi by: Monday, July 31st, 2017. If images are not uploaded on time, they will be disqualified from the exhibition.
The work on exhibit will not be priced or offered for sale through NYFA or Photoville. If any person is interested in purchasing your work we will advise them to contact you directly. It is important for you to give us accurate information regarding your current website and contact information. Collateral material with artist contact information will be distributed in our container and via social media.
