NYFA applicants the opportunity to demonstrate
their talents for consideration and acceptance into the program and to assess their eligibility
for grants or Talent Based Scholarships.

WHO SHOULD RESERVE AN AUDITION OR PORTFOLIO REVIEW?
Auditions and Portfolios Reviews are not required for most of our short-term or online
workshops. If you are ready to apply, you may present your Audition or Portfolio for review and
possibly be awarded Financial Aid.
Only if you have applied to any of these programs should you reserve an Audition or
Portfolio Review:

- Undergraduate (BFA & AFA): Acting for Film and Musical Theatre
- One & Two Year Conservatory: Musical Theatre and Acting for Film
- Workshops: Musical Theatre (excludes online workshops)
