Joe Lisi on Educational Opportunities for Veterans at NYFA
The New York Film Academy is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which is a provision of the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.
As a yellow ribbon school, NYFA has chosen to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program in order to make additional funds available to veteran students who qualify. While the Post-9/11 GI Bill may cover the tuition and fees of a public school, the Yellow Ribbon program can help those eligible by providing additional funds to help cover unmet tuition costs at the New York Film Academy.
NYFA's campuses in New York, South Beach and Los Angeles participate in the yellow ribbon program as they offer degree programs.

For Post 9/11 GI Bill®️ (Ch 33) students and VA Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Ch 31) students, our tuition policy complies with 38 USC 3679(e) which means Post 9/11 and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment students will not be charged or otherwise penalized due to a delay in VA tuition and fee payments. For eligibility consideration, a Post 9/11 GI Bill student must submit a VA Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and a Vocational Rehabilitation Student must provide a VAF 28-1905 form.
