David Oulton attended an Acting for Film Camp for Teens in Los Angeles. He has booked roles on successful projects including Fargo, Galaxy Trek, Guns of Purgatory, and The Agreement.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Oulton decided to begin posting FaceTime videos on social media, resulting in attention from Amazon who decided to pick up a show called Face to Face With David, where Oulton would interview celebrity guests via video call. The show is currently in its second season and has featured guests from Perez Hilton to Carson Kressley to Lawrence Pressman and Vernee Watson.
