Learn How To Write a Script at NYFA
Designed for teens interested in learning how to write a script, NYFA’s screenwriting camps provide an in-depth introduction to the craft. In these programs, students aged 14-17 can practice writing in an immersive environment, studying under the guidance of our experienced faculty of professional screenwriters. Our screenwriting camps are currently offered as in-person, on-campus summer camps , as well as online camps.
Screenwriting Summer
Camps : Level I
During our level one camp, students can build upon their natural talents and learn the best practices of screenwriting.
1-Week and 3-Week Workshops available
Students will use their time in our in-person camp to practice their writing skills and work towards writing an original script. The in-person camp is a full-time summer program. While a number of our teen programs have an additional selection of level two programs, our screenwriting camp is currently available as a level one program only.
Online Screenwriting
Summer Camp
Throughout our online screenwriting camp, students from all over the world can join and learn remotely with NYFA.
3-Week and 4-Week Workshops available
During our virtual camp, teens write their own original script (7-10 pages long), learning the screenwriting process from start to finish. Students will learn from our experienced faculty from multiple NYFA campuses, studying and participating in a live classroom setting. This full-time, remote day camp is offered during the summer.
