Kids Summer Camps and Workshops

Study Film, Media,
and Performing Arts at NYFA

During NYFA’s summer camps and workshops, kids can explore their interest and enthusiasm for the film, media, and performing arts in a supportive, welcoming environment. Throughout these fun and engaging programs, students aged 10-13 learn through games, exercises, group projects, and assignments, studying under the guidance of experienced industry professionals. Perfect for imaginative kids who love to dream up their own stories and put on performances, our programs help students build upon their natural abilities and establish a foundation of new skills. Due to the collaborative, creative nature of these programs, many students also develop a number of transferrable skills, such as public speaking, problem solving, self-expression, and communication.

NYFA currently offers summer, after school, weekend, online camps and workshops for kids. Students may choose from full-time and part-time camps in filmmaking, acting for film, photography, musical theatre, game design or 3D animation.

A selection of our kids programs are available as beginner level-one and level-two programs.

Alumni Work

NYFA attracts an extraordinarily diverse student body from all over the world. Many of our camp alumni build substantial creative skills and make lasting, global connections at NYFA, helping them build relationships and make new friends. Often, campers use their experience from our programs to pursue their interests and goals in film, media, television, and entertainment.

As the successes of any NYFA alumni is the result of their individual hard work, perseverance, talent and circumstances, New York Film Academy cannot guarantee that any future graduate will achieve similar success or secure a position in the industry.
