Study Film, Media,
and Performing Arts at NYFA
In NYFA’s summer camps and workshops for teens, students can pursue their interests in film, media, and the performing arts. Throughout these programs, students aged 14-17 gain experience through hands-on, practical training, studying under the guidance and mentorship of working industry professionals.
Similar to all NYFA programs, students learn-by-doing, and will spend a majority of their time completing projects that train them in their chosen discipline. Our programs also teach a number of transferrable skills that prepare them for their high school years and beyond, helping students develop their ability to collaborate, present, and discuss their work.
Teen
Programs
NYFA currently offers summer, after school, weekend, and online camps and workshops for teens. Students may choose from full-time and part-time programs in filmmaking, acting for film, screenwriting, broadcast journalism, photography, musical theatre, game design, documentary filmmaking or 3D animation.
A selection of our camps are available as beginner level-one and level-two classes. Teens who wish to get the full campus experience may inquire about residential housing available during the summer camps.

NYFA’s teen programs are available in New York, Los Angeles, South Beach in Miami, FL, Harvard University, as well as internationally in Paris, Florence, and Gold Coast, Australia. Students may also choose from a variety of online camps.
Alumni Work
NYFA attracts a diverse student body from all over the world. During their time in our camps and programs, many of our alumni build substantial creative skills and make lasting, global connections at NYFA. Often, students use their experience in our programs to pursue their interests and goals in film, media, television, and entertainment.
The successes of any NYFA alumni is the result of their individual hard work, perseverance, talent and circumstances, and New York Film Academy cannot guarantee that any future graduate will achieve similar success or secure a position in the industry.
