Graduated from NYFA NYC Campus in 2021
Heidi Segal is a U.S. Air Force veteran and graduate of the New York Film Academy. She is a creative producer, writer, director, and editor and best known for her celebrated short film Matthew’s Monsters, which was selected for the 2017 Cannes Short Film Corner and named a finalist at the 2017 Hong Kong Star International Film Festival. In just one year after transitioning to the entertainment industry, she wrote, produced, directed, edited, and/or crewed over 30 projects, including short films, reality‑TV sizzle reels, scripted series, commercials, and music videos. She also writes and develops her original content—from scripted TV series like Bad Wolff (dark drama) and Mid‑Lifers (dramedy) to a thriller feature titled Ashes‑to‑Ashes, as well as multiple competition/elimination series.
