Fall 2026 Add/Drop/Change Deadline

The Add/Drop/Change Deadline is the final deadline for completing the following academic-related requests:

Add/Drop Eligible Courses: Generally only Liberal Arts & Sciences courses can be added or dropped; students have until 5:00 pm Friday of Week Two to petition to add or drop eligible courses, with required approvals from the Academic Department Chair, Academic Advisor, and applicable offices. Add an Approved Internship (INTE400 / INTE400N): Students wishing to earn credit for an internship by enrolling in INTE400 / INTE400N must have all required approvals and documentation submitted to the Registrar and their  Academic Department by the Add/Drop Deadline. Requesting a Religious Accommodation: Students must submit a written Religious Accommodation Request Form to their Academic Program Department before the Add/Drop deadline, specifying the date(s), conflict, and requested accommodation; accommodations are not applied retroactively. Testing / Waiving Out of a Course Requirement: Degree students in good standing (meeting SAP) may petition to waive one course per semester by demonstrating mastery and earning at least an A on a proctored exam or skill demonstration.  Contact: Department of Academic Affairs for BFA programs — [email protected] (NY) / [email protected] (LA); Academic Program Department for non-BFA programs. 

Requesting to Audit a Course: Enrolled students in good standing may audit one course per semester at no charge with approval from both their own and the host Department Chair.  Please note additional audits billed at the audit per credit rate. Administrative Withdrawal Determination Date: Students will be administratively withdrawn at the Add/Drop/Change Deadline if they fail to attend all courses for the first two (2) weeks of the semester. Contact: Registrar’s Office — [email protected] (NY) / [email protected] (LA)
