Adam Driver is one of the most acclaimed and recognizable actors working today. His breakout role was as Adam Sackler on HBO’s Girls which netted him three Emmy nominations. Since then, he has appeared in a number of director-driven films such as Jim Jarmusch’s Paterson, Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky, the Coen brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis, and Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman. Recently, he’s appeared in Ferrari as Enzo Ferrari, Marriage Story, White Noise, House of Gucci, and The Last Duel.

One of his most high profile roles has been Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. He reprised this role in the 2019 follow-up Star Wars: Episode IX. Driver also appeared as Kylo Ren when hosting Saturday Night Live.

In 2018, following a screening of Paterson at NYFA’s New York campus, Driver discussed his career and process with students.
