Byron BashforthANIMATOR | VISUAL EFFECTS

Byron Bashforth is an animator and artist who has worked on several animated films for Pixar. First starting with the company as a render technical director for the box office sequel smash Toy Story 2, Bashforth went on to be a shading artist for Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Up, and Brave. He was also the shading lead for Ratatouille and Coco. Bashforth has worked in other animation departments as well, including as computer graphics artist for Finding Nemo, and render technical director for the short For the Birds. Speaking with students in November 2017 at NYFA’s Los Angeles campus, Bashforth was all smiles as he went into detail about his work on Coco.
