Elon J. Washington works at WBTV under Matthew A. Cherry. Previously, Washington was the Development Manager at Academy Award winner Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions, where she managedd project submissions and current film and television projects. Before joining Monkeypaw, Washington received her MFA in Screenwriting at New York Film Academy.

Since then, Washington has utilized her expanding network to found the Black Film Allegiance, an organization committed to creating visibility for underrepresented creatives.
