Thomas Ian Nicholas has visited both NYFA LA and NYC for separate screenings of The Lost Tree. The 90s and 00s star of Rookie of the Year and American Pie has reinvented himself as an indie actor, filmmaker, and musician.

The actor visited the Los Angeles campus in 2017 with director Brian A. Metcalf. The duo discussed their production company, Red Compass Media, and working on a project with a tight budget.

Ian Nicholas then took his new film to New York in 2018 where NYC students were treated to a screening of the thriller and ask questions about the actor’s lengthy career and upcoming projects.
