Cinematography graduate Bob Nguyen is a Golden Kite Award-winning cinematographer best known for his film Sut. “The Golden Kite” is the highest award given in Vietnam, and represents the country’s equivalent to an Academy Award. Most recently, Song Lang, the highly-lauded Vietnamese feature film, picked up two major prizes at the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) Awards—Best Feature Film and 2019 Cinematographer of the Year—adding two more major awards to the growing list of accolades for Nguyen.

Nguyen is now, officially, a member of the Australian Society of Cinematographers (ACS).
