Graduated from NYFA NYC Campus in 2017
At age 11 she founded Kids Caring 4 Kids, a nonprofit organization supporting children affected by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa, which has raised over one million dollars and engaged thousands of young people.
Professionally, Ciesemier has worked as a producer and reporter for The New York Times’ Opinion section, Mic, and CBS News. At Mic, her interview with Alice Marie Johnson helped inspire Kim Kardashian West’s successful campaign for Johnson’s clemency, leading to significant national impact. She served as the host and Senior Executive Producer of Multimedia at the ACLU’s podcast “At Liberty” from 2019 to 2024. She is also the host and creator of the “United Bodies” podcast, focusing on the complexities of health and lived experience. She is also the co-founder of OWN IT, a women’s leadership initiative aimed at empowering college-aged women through engagement with trailblazing female leaders.
