Masali Baduza is an actor from South Africa, best known for her role as Fumbe in the film The Woman King, acting alongside Oscar-, Emmy-, and two-time Tony Award-winning actor Viola Davis. Masali is also known as a new cast member in the hit Netflix series, Bridgerton. She appeared as Michaela Sterling in season three finale and is in the 2026 season.

Early in her career, Masali starred in the film Bhai’s Cafe, the short film The Fighter and two episodes of the TV series Trackers. Baduza then starred as Persephone “Sephy” Hadley in the BBC drama series Noughts + Crosses from 2020 to 2022. In 2021, she appeared in a remake of the 1982 slasher film Slumber Party Massacre, starring Hannah Gonera, Frances Sholto-Douglas, and Mila Rayne. She also appeared as Edith in the 2021 TV adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days, starring David Tennant and based on the Jules Verne novel of the same name.
