Sergei IvoninProducer

Sergei Ivonin came to the New York Film Academy to gain the skills he needed to achieve his career goal of being a journalist. After finishing the broadcast journalism program, Sergei landed a position as digital journalist and staff producer at NBC News, working on Dateline: NBC and covering special events like the Sochi Olympics.

Sergei has also been nominated twice for an Emmy for his role as producer and has won the Alfred I. duPont Award. He won an Emmy as a field producer on Dateline NBC for a segment in which former U.S. President Barack Obama was interviewed.
