Build Voice, Movement, and Performance Skills
In the 3-Week Musical Theatre Camp at NYFA, aspiring performers aged 14-17 learn new performance techniques in a supportive, creative environment, working one-on-one with industry professionals and gaining hands-on training.
Camp Name: 3-Week Musical Theatre Camp for Teens
NYFA’s 3-Week Musical Theatre Camp offers teens the opportunity to advance their performance skills while making lifelong friends from all over the world. During the program, students build their confidence on-stage, learning essential skills in dance, voice, acting, and theatre history. For their final project, students will perform in a staged graduation showcase for family and friends. At the end of the camp, all students will receive a digital recording of their final performance.
In preparation for the camp, students will need to choose two contrasting songs from the musical theatre canon and one song from the pop rock genre. Students must supply their own ballet slippers, jazz shoes, dance clothes, and a three-ring binder.
