Aubrey Plaza, who attended film camp at NYFA, starred as April Ludgate, the deadpan intern in Parks and Recreation with Amy Poehler. She also played Seth Rogen’s love interest, Daisy in 2009’s Funny People directed by Judd Apatow. Other credits include “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” and Derrick Comedy’s Mystery Team, which debuted at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Aubrey appeared in a CollegeHumor short alongside Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, the first episode of “Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz” on Funny or Die, several episodes of Portlandia, and the online series The Jeannie Tate Show. She also starred as Robin Gibney in ESPN’s Mayne Street and performed at A Night of 140 Tweets: A Celebrity Tweetathon for Haiti, produced by Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer, Ben Stiller, and Mike Rosenstein at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. Plaza won a Spirit Award for Best First Feature for Ingrid Goes West in 2018 (which she produced and received a 2018 Film Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature). She also starred in Jeff Baena’s The Little Hours (also a producer), Colin Trevorrow’s Safety Not Guaranteed, Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and Judd Apatow’s Funny People, among others. On television, she most recently starred in Noah Hawley’s Legion on FX and is well known for her role on NBC’s Parks & Recreation.

She produced and starred in the cerebral drama Black Bear.
