Edward Button is an award winning Director of Photography and Director. He has shot around the globe for brands like Gillette, Care International, Western Union, Sony/BMG and has shot feature films for directors such as Shari Springer Berman, Robert Pulcini, Doug Liman, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Trish Dalton. Edward started his career working in the camera department for Emmanuel Lubezki ASC for films by the Cohen Brothers and Terrence Malick. Currently, Edward has been working extensively in Virtual Reality having served as Director of Photography and Producer on Doug Liman’s cinematic VR series Invisible and Brett Leonards cinematic VR Series Hollywood Rooftop. Edward’s work has been screened at The Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Lions, The Sundance Film Festival, and the Brasov International Film Festival (where he won the ‘Best Cinematography’ award). Edward has spoken at conferences such as SXSW, Digital Hollywood, VR Fest, and VRTO on VR/XR and the future of filmed entertainment.
