Mexican actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who graduated from the One-Year Acting Program at NYFA, was one of the leads in Antoine Fuqua’s film, The Magnificent Seven, which also starred Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, and Vincent D’onofrio.

Garcia-Rulfo also plays Marquez in Fox’s Murder On The Orient Express, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, and Josh Gad. He appears in the 2018 drama Sicario 2: Soldado alongside Benicio Del Toro, Catherine Keener, and fellow NYFA guest speakers Josh Brolin and Matthew Modine.

He recently starred in Greyhound opposite Tom Hanks and was announced in the lead role in the David E. Kelley Netflix drama series of The Lincoln Lawyer, slated for a 2022 release.
