Elizabeth Olsen



Graduate from the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and recipient of the Hollywood Rising Star Award at the 41st Annual Deauville Film Festival in 2015, Elizabeth Olsen is better known to audiences as the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Studios’ television series WandaVision. Olsen is set to continue her role in  Marvel/Disney’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, releasing on March 25, 2022.

Olsen will portray the infamous Texas housewife “Candy Montgomery” in HBO Max’s all-star lineup (behind the camera as well) true-crime limited series, Love and Death.

Not only is Olsen a successful film actress, but a trained stage actress as well, having received formal training at the Atlantic Acting School and Moscow Art Theatre Schools. While attending New York University, Olsen understudied the Off-Broadway play Dust and Broadway play Impressionism. In 2013, Olsen helped kick off the Classic Stage Company’s Fall 2013-2014 season as the lead role, Juliet, in the Off-Broadway play, Romeo and Juliet.

The actress has a long history of acting credits spanning a 25+ year career: 

  • Sorry For Your Loss (2018-2019) a dark comedy on Facebook Watch. Olsen’s performance as young widow Leigh Gibbs, earned her a Critics Choice Award nomination for “Best Actress in a Drama Series.” Olsen was also a producer for this series.
  • In Wind River (2017), Olsen starred opposite her Avengers co-star, Jeremy Renner. The film, written and directed by Taylor Sheridan, centers on a murder on the Wind River Indian Reservation.
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Olsen made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Scarlet Witch, and subsequently continued the franchise role in Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Her character was resurrected for the epic Marvel finale franchise film Avengers: Endgame (2019) where she starred alongside Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Brie Larson and Anthony Mackie.
  • Ingrid Goes West (2014), Olsen starred opposite Audrey Plaza in the cult classic which was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards.
  • Godzilla (2014) by Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures. Olsen starred opposite Aaron-Taylor Johnson and Bryan Cranston.
  • Oldboy (2013) a Spike Lee-directed film. Starring opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Brolin, the film centers an everyday man that has only five days and limited resources to discover why he was imprisoned.
  • Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) by Fox Searchlight premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in Un Certain Regard. Olsen earned a Gotham Award, Critics Choice, and Independent Spirit Award nomination for “Lead Actress” for her breakout performance, where she starred alongside Hugh Dancy and Sarah Paulson.
