Nicole CrossNEWS ANCHOR

Dr. Nicole Cross came to the New York Film Academy for the 4-week broadcast journalism program but ended up staying for the 8-week program. This helped her transition from her former position as a psychotherapist and college professor. Just a few short months after finishing the workshop at NYFA, Nicole landed a position as a general assignment reporter and substitute anchor at an ABC affiliate in Victoria, Texas.

From there, she joined KTBS in August 2016 from KNOE/KAQY, the CBS and ABC affiliate in Monroe, Louisiana, and anchored “Good Morning ArkLaMiss” and KNOE 8 News at Noon, as well as anchoring evening newscasts, contributing health and wellness segments, and hosting “Moms Everyday”, a nationally syndicated talk show focusing on parenting issues.

Dr. Nicole Cross is now an Emmy Award nominated journalist currently co-anchoring KTBS 3 News at 4pm and 5pm and is the station’s Health Correspondent.
