Randall Dottin Randall Dottin
Chair of Screenwriting, Directing

The chair of the screenwriting school in NYC, Dottin is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. He received his MFA at the Columbia University School of the Arts Graduate Film Division. His thesis film, A-Alike, was licensed for a two-year broadcast run by HBO and won numerous awards including a Director’s Guild of America Award for Best African American Student Filmmaker and a Gold Medal at the Student Academy Awards for Best Narrative Film. His short film Lifted was sponsored by Fox Searchlight's program for emerging directors, the Fox Searchlab. He is the writer, director, and producer of The Chicago Franchise, a feature-length documentary that was recently accepted into IFP Week’s Spotlight on Documentaries.

Danielle Beeber Danielle Beeber

Born and raised in NYC, Danielle is a Writer, Editor and Producer. She received her MFA with honors from Columbia University in Screenwriting, There she was awarded various screenwriting awards and scholarships including a full first year writing scholarship, a teaching fellowship, and the Zaki Gordon grant for screenwriting. Ms Beeber went on to be a producer and Editor for Vh1′s Best Week Ever. Afterwards she wrote and rewrote screenplays for National Lampoons and Breakout Productions. She is one of the producers for the critically acclaimed web series for PBS- "Black Folk Don't." Ms Beeber is currently working on her graphic memoir LOOSE a Loose memoir as well as a documentary on the hidden art scene on Staten Island.

BA University of Michigan -- Ann Arbor; MFA City College of New York. Writer/Director of the award winning feature film August the First, which screened at 30 film festivals around the world, including The South By Southwest Film Festival (SXSW) and The Karlovy Vary Film Festival. The latest award winning screenplay, Highway to Nowhere has been optioned and is currently in development.
