Boise Esquerra is an editor and producer, known for Blackwater, Surrender At Crow Lake, and Minors.

Esquerra graduated from New York Film Academy (MFA Screenwriting) and holds a BA in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production and an additional MFA in Filmmaking from NYFA. The NYFA alum resides in Burbank, CA, and is represented by Sandra Avila at Inclusion Management.

Esquerra’s episodic film Blackwater screened at the 2021 Slamdance Film Festival. In November 2022, the alum returned to the LA campus for a film screening of his short films Blackwater and Cowboy, followed by a Q&A with Crickett Rumley, NYFA Senior Director of the Film Festival Department.
