Bachelor of Arts

BA Degree in Film, Media, and Entertainment

NYFA’s Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree program provides students an alternative to our fine arts degrees at the undergraduate level. During this immersive program, students learn how today’s ever-changing media landscape is shaping global societies, including its effects on culture, business, the arts, and social trends.

Students will be given the framework to build practical skills in critical studies, communication and marketing, and interactive narrative, creating a range of content. Our BA in Media Studies program is available at our NYFA Los Angeles campus. To enroll, students must have a high school diploma.

Accelerated Schedule

NYFA’s Bachelor of Arts degree program follows an accelerated schedule, and students may complete their degree in three years. Our accelerated calendars reflect the nature of our intensive programs, and help keep students focused on their area of study. Students may also choose to complete the program in a traditional four-year time frame.

Curriculum

NYFA follows a project-based, learn-by-doing approach where students spend the majority of their time creating content. This approach gives students the structure to develop a tremendous amount of technical and creative training as they explore their field of study. For more information, visit our course catalog.
