Filmmaking and Acting for Film Camps
NYFA Australia, located on the Gold Coast, is a diverse, supportive student community. On-campus, students have the opportunity to shoot on purpose-built sets, gaining hands-on, practical training in filmmaking and acting for film. Off-campus, students will explore the exciting Queensland film industry.
Through an Australian-first partnership with Warner Bros. Movie World, NYFA Australia students have the opportunity to work on film production hot sets and shoot throughout the iconic theme park’s backlot. With golden beaches, tropical rainforests, rugged country, a modern city skyline, and an average of 300 days of sunshine every year, Gold Coast is an exciting city where students can draw constant inspiration from their surroundings.
NYFA Australia currently offers in-person and online youth camps for students aged 13-17 in filmmaking and acting for film. These camps are designed to immerse students in the art of narrative storytelling, and students will learn how to write, direct, shoot, edit, and act in their own short films.
High school teen camp programs in Australia do not include accommodation, transfers, or meals.
