Neil ForsythAUTHOR | SCREENWRITER

Neil Forsyth is an author and screenwriter. In television he is a Royal Television Society Award winner, and has been nominated for a Writer’s Guild Award, a Broadcast Press Guild Award and a Scottish BAFTA. In recent years he has written a number of comedy dramas, including four SKY Playhouses starring, amongst others, Carrie Fisher, Joseph Fiennes, Stockard Channing and Brian Cox. His Playhouse on Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Andre, earned Forsyth a Writer’s Guild nomination. His 2017 BBC drama Eric, Ernie and Me, a behind the scenes look at the iconic British TV show Morecambe and Wise, was very well received and has been nominated for a number of awards. He is also the creator of a new BBC comedy drama series which is slated for production in 2019.
