Qianying Zhou is a film producer, writer, and director, who was born and raised in Shanghai, China. Zhou went on to study at the New York Film Academy in the 1-Year Filmmaking Conservatory at NYFA’s New York campus before continuing her studies in the BFA Filmmaking program at NYFA-Los Angeles.

Her short films have screened internationally at the Cannes Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, and many others. In addition to being a writer and director, Zhou has also had a successful career working in the camera department on multiple international films including, Lulu wang’s The FarewellThe Great Wall, and IMAX: Pandas.
